Yeah, just worries me a guy who basically didn't play at all this year and is coming off a torn ACL. He is further along in his recovery than Revel was at this time (Basically end of the previous season for McCoy, beginning of season for Revel) but it feels a little like Revel's situation. Revel was also a top 10 type talent. Tore his ACL and missed almost the entire season.

But if McCoy can run and workout that would help tremendously. Because it's mostly about getting your explosive ability back after the ACL tear.

Revel was never a top 10 talent, maybe a late 1st but I'm not even sure that's totally true.

It's impossible to say but I think if not for the injury he was probably a guy who goes in the 25-50 range.

It actually falls right in line with just about every jackass we fucking sign.

We never seem to get medical shit right. Not sure if we are just too optimistic or if the doctors are giving bad advice. But it feels like we get into these situations way too often where we sign a guy and then suddenly their health goes to shit.

I think he was more in the top 15 range. 10 may be optimistic. But it all depends who you were listening to at the time before he got hurt. But he was a tall, stupid fast and highly thought of corner.

#12 on the Athletics Big board for example.

I wonder if the fact that they've missed 2 years in a row will impact Jerry's decision making in the offseason.

I'd be shocked if we got anything more than a new DC and one mid-tier FA signing like Quincy Williams.

And even getting that much is probably 50/50 at best.

I'm going to let it go. Next time expect an infraction.

Flus is the second highest paid DC in the league. :lol

He'll be back if he wasn't on a one year contract.

Anyone have faith the Cowboys will finally be active participants in the offseason?

The last two offseasons they did the absolute bare minimum and the results have been missed playoffs and losing records.

I don't think they'll change the way they hire coaches. The new DC will likely be a familiar name. But I'm wondering if watching this team crash and burn for two straight seasons will make them at least re-evaluate how they handle personnel decisions.

No. We will raise our level to the Olawele level but thats about it.

We need to incorporate Murray level to our evaluations. Or Sanborn. The level of suck is higher than some poor career FB we over paid because Garrett wanted a FB to be clever.
