We cling to our draft grades for years, but most other teams do not evaluate talent that way. Tolbert has zero trade value.

You know, other teams have underachieving mid round picks at different positions that they also aren't gonna extend.

Tolbert has zero value for any good long term pieces. If some other team has a surplus at RB and an underachiever in the final year of a deal, that's where a swap makes sense.

Not that Dallas has a "surplus," of talent at WR but it has plenty of guys who can be #4s which is what Tolbert is.

Tier 2 (great but not elite) is probably only Burrow.

Tier 3 (good not great) has about 10 guys in it, including Dak.

The rest of the QBs are not good.

The state of QBs in the league is really bad right now for the most part.

Based strictly on last year that's probably true, but I'd guess that with improved weapons Dak performs in that tier this season (which is where I'd place him for the majority of his career).
