From what I understand it could be close to a season ender.

If he chooses to have it repaired rather than have it completely removed, he's probably looking at 4-6 months of rehab.

Not even remotely close. I was actually correct.

I said it could be a season ender if he chose to have it repaired.

Obviously he chose to have the meniscus removed which means he'll be back a lot quicker. But the trade-off is there's a much higher likelihood that he's going to deal with quality of life issues in that knee down the road.

The tweet doesn't say it but Schefter was on ESPN last night explaining that Dickerson chose to have the meniscus shaved down (removed) rather than surgically repaired.
