You have to think like Stephen Jones thinks.

He is quite damaged in many ways, and not just his body after two ACL tears.

So signing him right now is probably not the best, we like the guys we have.

Now, you wait because you know where he was ranked on your draft board in 2022.

You wait until he is healthy, then you strike!

Instantly, that's like another mid-round pick and especially if he wants to be a Dallas Cowboy, it is so important for relevance.

And he is from Arkansas.

Why would he need to do that?

Everyone knows what the Lions are doing is against all the laws of pie as we know it. It is, in fact, illegal.

Everyone has the same amount of pie. But others seem to realize that in future years that pie gets bigger. And you can eat more pie now if you sacrifice some pie in 2028.

Jerry and Stephen seem to think there is only one pie to be had. In reality there are multiple pies to eat from.

But regardless of the size or number, it is all their pie. And they are loath to part with any of it.

If anyone, anywhere ever cities “the cap” as the reason we can or can’t do anything, they are a Jones boy fluffer, because no one can be that ignorant of 25 years of evidence to the contrary.

This is the reality. Its real money going out of the Jones family pockets and going into someone else's pocket every time they pay a player. It's not about the cap, it's about them making money.
 


I seem to recall some envy when they picked him.
