Yeah which I hate. RB in my opinion is one of the hardest to judge from practices where you aren't allowed to tackle to the ground. RB is also a position where guys can suddenly suck in a hurry. To just say, we will figure it out once the season starts, is really dumb.

Probably wouldn't have made a difference but maybe if they had played Zeke in preseason last year they would have had a better idea that the guy was a dumpster fire before the season began.

It's not really apples to apples and I don’t do PI work. But its kind of like an insurance company knowing someone with a claim has an attorney and then getting that person to accept a check for a fraction of what they could have got and cut the attorney out of the process. My guess is a personal injury attorney would be pretty pissed if that happened.

Sure, but this is more like the insurance company getting the claimant to accept a check larger than they’ve ever paid out before.

The insurance company needs to be slapped on the wrist but the PI attorney is committing malpractice by instructing the claimant to stick his head in the sand and pretend there’s no offer just because the PI attorney didn’t negotiate it.
 
Blue is explosive but really, really vulnerable to hits. He had a couple of good moments where he actually delivered blows, but he got blown up more than once when he was hit from the side.

And of course, he got hurt again.

In preseason I'm ok with that. During a real game is where you want tough.

Preseason is essentially partial-speed football compared with real games where the impacts are only going to get worse.

I'm glad he got this exposure, but he's not yet ready for prime time (literally).

He may get suspended eventually. I think their current tactic is to let things play out in the legal world rather than prematurely punishing players.

That's why they didn't weigh in on the Rashee Rice incident last season.
