While he was still decent against the run, guys like Fowler and boozestrong had more pass rush success than he had recently.

Agreed. I don't know what the advanced analytics say, but by my eye test he's been a pretty mediocre pass rusher for about 5 years now.

Loved him at OU but honestly have no idea what he's done in the pros. I know he was drafted by the Chargers, that's about it.

He's been a pretty average pro. I think he's more of a chase down LB. He doesn't make many plays in the backfield. But I do like his size and think he'll hold up well against the run. He's a liability in pass coverage so I'd be surprised to see him out there a lot in nickel packages.

That's probably pretty close to how it went down. That way they can tell the fans and media that they made an offer but were outbid.

I like it, he never lived up to his potential coming out but he's a capable starter who can give you a credible 500+ snaps a year.

He's probably the best player we've added so far.
