2025 College Football Chatter

USC’s defense is trash
Typical Lincoln Riley coached team.

I'm glad Illinois was able to pull that one out. Even through they broke my college football cardinal rule. Don't. Trust. College. Kickers.

On the final drive they trusted the kicker and didn't try to get into the endzone. It worked out.....this time.

I had the Auburn game up in my multi-view and Jackson Arnold is looking more and more like the same talentless QB that we saw at OU.

He's still reluctant to make throws over the middle. He still takes too many sacks. And he still struggles to handle blitzes.

If it weren't for his scrambling ability, he'd be completely worthless.

I think Auburn ends up benching him midseason like OU did last year. They have to try something new because 14 ppg (in SEC play) won't cut it.

You know, Penn State really improved at WR as they brought in 2 guys I really like in Trebor Peña and Devonte Ross.

Both of these guys are way way way better than anyone they had at WR last year and yet through 3.5 games, their offense looks no different.

I think we need to start looking at their offensive coaching.

I dont want to look at them.

A buddy of mine is a huge Auburn fan and he thinks he's awful.

He had a lot of Auburn fans fooled after the first couple of games. They were able to run the ball pretty easily so he wasn't being asked to do much.

But once the schedule got tougher and their run game got bottled up, his limitations as a QB have been on full display.

I think there's clearly a coaching problem at Penn State.

I learned a couple of years ago not to buy into their hype. I think Kerry Collins was the QB there the last time they won one of these big games vs a top 10 opponent.

Alabama just ran a passing play for one of their big 340lbs OL and he almost scored from about 15 yards out. :lol

John Madden would be proud.

Correction, 359.

He's down to 359. :o

Brutal fumble inside the 10 by Oregon.

Illinois had two of those today.

How does that DB not cut that back or slow down and use his teammates as blockers?

I guess we know why he doesn't play on offense.

:lol

Trace McSorley was the QB unless we're counting last year when they beat #8 Boise State in the playoffs.
What about regular season? That's what I was mainly referring to.

They've whiffed in the big games vs Michigan and Ohio State. I believe Michigan State used to slap them around as well.

Regular season has been since 2016, but yeah it's a problem.
