Nantz decades of experience enables him to diplomatically say "you're an idiot, Tony."

"I think he's diagramming the spin move, not stirring the pot"

White cornerback privilege :angry

OK, so scrap heap QB as backup for when Dak misses time… again

Yes. :shrug

I’d rather be developing a talent we could trade for good draft capital one day or who might even surprise us and become our own starter

I'd rather not waste a valuable pick on a guy who has a very low percentage of working out considering we have so many holes to fill elsewhere that have a much greater chance of turning into something.

Especially since we're missing our 4th.

If we dipped into free agency adequately that would change the equation but we won't.

This is the exact logic that keeps guys like Cooper Rush as our backup QB and no QB of the future ever in Dallas.

Last time we did this was 2016, and it had a dramatic effect on the season, and it was clear we should have been doing it more often.

I would absolutely call a pick at the most valuable position a valuable pick. It will make Dak a better QB to mentor another player. And when that player plays well, it will raise the quality of play overall, not to mention give us injury insurance

Front row fans enjoy this playoff win as much as they can. Many will not be able to afford another once the new stadium opens.

That's right, he did. And nothing detracts from that accomplishment.

They're not competitive today. Particularly in the 2nd half. Suggests their record is deceiving.

Have you looked around the league? Most backup QBs are Cooper Rush quality. There aren't enough to go around.

That's the exception not the rule. Go look up how many 4th round QBs work out.

And, we got extremely lucky and if we had our way we'd have taken Paxton Lynch or Connor Cook.

We haven't put ourselves in the position to afford this luxury.

Yes it's the most valuable position but you also have to be smart about it.

Your mistake is assuming that it'll work out just because we take one and develop him.

Your logic is the exact logic that Jerry used to trade a 4th for Trey Lance. How'd that work out?
