2024 Season | Week 9 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Falcons | 11/3/2024

Can we get a parting shot of Jerry? And Dak doesn't look that banged up. Should find out tomorrow that he's out for the season.
Was just thinking... Has anyone seen a QB pull a hamstring throwing a pass before? Pretty sure I haven't.

I still don't buy it. You hope to score two TDs and kick the XPs and get to overtime. Why in the world go for two?

Chances are you'll convert one of two 2pters. If you make the first, then you have chance to win in regulation. If you miss the first attempt, odds are you'll convert the second attempt and tie it up.

With two XPs, no chance of winning before OT at all.

Furthermore, with backup QB and Lamb hurt, chances you win in OT are not good, so you're willing to try to win it in regulation

I agree with you. It was an unnecessary risk.

We no longer have anything to play for this year, so I don't even have the energy to feign anger.
Very true. :lol The odds of getting the onside kick now are so remote now anyway.

So the whole thing is based on the old "go for the win on the road, tie at home" thing? I never bought that anyway.

I don't get it either. McCarthy felt bad for everyone watching, and wanted to make sure it wouldn't go to overtime?

Of course, they got the conversion there when it really didn't matter. If that was to win the game, it would have been a spectacular failure.

Me too.

He's got some things to work on, but I love seeing when losses bother guys and he's one of those players that clearly looks bothered when they're losing.

Give those types every time.

Maybe I am cynical, but I think he was doing a little PR move since he has received criticism about his attitude lately.

First time seeing Pollard this year. He's the Titans whole offense in OT.

For better chance at top pick, we just need someone to win this NE/TEN overtime thriller. No tie.

Actually, not stupid. Just shitty arm that couldn't do what he saw. 15 yards underthrown.
