I don't consider Parcell's time here a failure. He just didn't stay long enough.

He did exactly what I'm hoping Belichick will do which is he changed the culture and made us run as close to a real football operation for only the second time under Jerry Jones' ownership.

In fact, that's still the only time we've had that many things operate respectably since Jimmy.

That's why I want Belichick. Jerry isn't going after someone like that without knowing going in that some things will have to change in order to make it work.

Parcells looked like a beaten down old dog by the time he left. What an incredible job he did though considering he had to deal with Jones' bullshit.

It would depend on how hot of a commodity Belichick is next season. This past season nobody really wanted him. Teams want the next McVay boy wonder type these days. But things can change in a hurry.

Now that the Cowboys are #1, not enough incentive for Jerruh to change those working conditions. Belichick will have to acquiesce and be desperate enough to get those final Don Shula wins
