2024 Season | Week 4 | Gameday Thursday Night Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Giants | 9/26/2024

Coincidence that Seattle just got a safety, but it’s probably in Lions favor.

With 2:00 remaining, Went from 15pt lead to 13, but kickoff enabled Lions to pin Seahawks back at 25. Preferable to a dangerous end zone punt block or short field.

It is hard to watch all these backs tonight be so much better than anything we have. :sad

Maybe people should have told Jerry during the offseason

Watching the replay of the Bucs-Eagles beatdown right now. What a whoopin'. I'm no Mayfield fan, but he looks really good -- so quick in everything he's doing... his drops, his reads, getting rid of it -- and the Eagles look so bad. What happened here? Bad day for the Eagles, or are they just not that good?

I always would have put Dak ahead of Mayfield, but this year? Not so sure.

One, Butthole Eyes is losing the team. Hurts is lost without Kelce thinking for him and their OL is banged up. They still have no damn idea what they want to do other than be ex-Bulldog shitheads.

And their QB run-heavy bullshit offense has been figured out dating back to last year, it's just exacerbated by the fact that their fag play isn't as automatic without Kelce.

The same thing will happen to Daniels and the Skins later this year or next year when their offense will just become stuck in the mud.

Mayfield has a team around him vs a collection of talented individuals. And his reclamation has been a significant part of building that team.

He’s like a puppy his teammates all like. He is seriously trying his best, and everyone knows it.

Dallas is more often than not a collection of individuals, and the culture feeds this point of view.

I'd take Mayfield at his salary any day of the week over Dak.

Yep, the writing is on the fuckin wall. I think a trend is starting where smart teams will take a chance on a talented wash out, pay them a reasonable salary and be able to spread the wealth around and build a real team instead of having a few stars and a bunch of fucking bums and rookies.

Hopefully. There are few QBs legitimately worth top dollar, but several owners fucking up that Tier 2 market by paying Tier 1. Let them dig their own grave.
