2024 Season | Week 4 | Gameday Thursday Night Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Giants | 9/26/2024

Boy the board excitement for this game was…well……I’ve seen more excitement at the funeral home.

Probably but the Giants have ran well the last few weeks, the 1.1 YPC is impressive against anybody. Mazi in particular played well, probably his best game yet.

But the defense is still quite shitty.

Not a lot of games to judge him on but I noticed Mazi pretty well manhandling their center.

I just don't understand why he struggles so much with clock management and situational awareness at the end of games.
Didn’t that plaque him in GB?

I think the more important question is…when will the NFL start taking these refs who throw 30 flags a game out of circulation. No flow to the game, and even worse many of them were borderline at best.

Yeah, I'm all for calling the legit penalties. But some of those calls just make you scratch your head. Just no reason to throw a flag. Makes games painful to watch.

I'm glad Leupke is finally getting more involved in the offense, but he's still not getting enough carries for my liking.

Especially in short yardage, if we aren't going to go to Zeke then we should be going to him.

This really feels exactly like 2019.

Talented enough to squeeze out a decent amount of wins, but the lack of discipline and dysfunction leads to some inexplicable performances where they immediately show their bellies, along with a bunch of penalties.

That team finished 8-8, I feel like this group will finish at either 8 or 9.

Couple reports out on X that Micah was only icing ankle. X-rays negative and he’s not in a boot.

Dallas is a 8 team win if they get lucky. I am thinking 6 or 7 wins is most likely.
I’m a bit more hopeful. I’m thinking 9-10 wins.
