I think you missed my last statement. The Ravens have proven to be bad at holding on to leads. Nothing was different Sunday. They got up big and went soft. They managed to win the game, but its not a new trait for them to give up leads in the 4th quarter.
That’s probably the case, either way the turn round by Prescott was from the opponents performance or lack of performance that aided Prescotts performance. Is that your observation?

Conversely I think Dallas is much better when they do things like run a hurry up and actually attack throwing the ball. We have been in such a funk trying to force a shitty run game early with a slow and plodding offense that just gets us nowhere. Come out and attack the other damn team. And after you have the defense on it's heels, then use the run game.

We act like we are a great running team that wants to impose our will running the ball from the start. And we just can't do it. Hell I don't know that we have been that type of a team since Callahan left. So attack, get these young receivers involved early. Get some damn momentum going. Speed the offense up so the defense doesn't have time to get set and figure out what you're doing on every damn play.

Anyway, none of that matters much if the defense keeps playing like this. Frankly the defense is our real problem. But that's just a bunch of asshole players playing for themselves in my opinion.

In the McCarthy era, I would like to know how many times we scored a TD after winning the toss but electing to receive.

Okay, you get the MoC points for the day.
Booze was creeping closer at one point, but NoDak put on a Secretariat-like burst.

Short sleeve dress shirts are not only unprofessional, but dorky and unattractive as well.

Completely unacceptable attire for a grown man.

Makes me think of Revenge of the Nerds.

Yep. He took a lot in college, but he is en fuego.

Honestly he is far more impressive than a healthy Robert Griffin.
Hater or no hater, the kid has a terrific arm. His big problem is the slight build and the propensity to pull it down and run. He’s not built for the NFL punishment. But he’s definitely going to be dangerous as a passer.

Stop right there? Fuck you, old man.
So if you could pay a certain amount for the legal right to punch him directly in the face as he says shit like this, would you? If so, how high would you go?

He was really fun to watch in college. But he also had a WR Corp that might be top 15 in the NFL.

From 2021 through three games in 2024 (58 games total), we won the toss and elected to receive 10 times. We scored touchdowns only twice. Against the Jets in 2023 and the Falcons in 2021. We kicked a FG on a third. Not a great track record.

Sounds about right. We take the ball like we are going to be aggressive but then we come out extremely conservative.
