2024 Season | Week 2 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Saints @ Cowboys | 9/15/2024

I was on a plane for most of this shit show, blessedly, but if you count the Packers game the defense basically didn't get a stop for like 14 straight drives to start those two games.

And that's under different coordinators and across two separate seasons.

Makes me think there's something rotten foundationally in the locker room on that side of the ball.
The only common denominator is the players.

And Jerry/the overall culture, but I do think there's something off with the players. The swings shouldn't be this wild where they are completely dominant one week then literally can't get a stop for 3+ quarters.

It's something mental/cultural.

Teams can neutralize our best defender by running right at him. That means a far inferior player has to make the play.

Then I’d explain to Dak that Spann-Ford isn’t a real person and it’s okay to throw the ball where a WR is going to be instead of where he was or is.

We might win 9 games.

:lol

It is them in the environment.

Ultimately, they are the responsible parties at the end of the oh so special experience.

Perhaps Jerry should hire someone to keep their shit straight.

You lose a timeout just to kick a field goal that you could have done where they spotted you to begin with?
