This is why Detroit fans should still be pissed at Dan Campbell for being so reckless in the NFC Championship Game. They have never been that close to a Super Bowl before in their lifetime, and Campbell coached that game as if it were a random game in October.

I understand that he's a risk taker and people like him for that, but time and situation should trump taking risks.

I mentioned in January when he was blowing the game to the 49ers that it's not a given that they'd get back to that point. Things happen to derail championship caliber rosters all the time....like a severe rash of injuries. And when you consider that the NFL operates in a manner that makes it difficult to keep teams together for more than 4 or 5 years, when you get the opportunity they had last season you have to take advantage of it and not piss it away like Campbell did.

Serves the Lions right but still we need someone to take out Philly.
 
These are damn near the two most boring games imaginable.

One fraud ass team (Minnesota), one average at best team (Atlanta) and two of the worst 5-10 teams in the league.

That's the problem with the late last minute signings. Get him months earlier and we would have been so much further along.
