2024 Season | Week 15 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Panthers | 12/15/2024

In today's NFL they don't necessarily need a bell cow. RB by committee would work as well. They just need RBs who aren't completely washed like Zeke.
I absolutely HATE that approach. While I agree that you need a competent backup, there needs to be a clear starter. Let them get into a groove, not wondering when their committee back is coming in next.

Did Dowdle have a long run in the FG drive? I don't recall him having a 5.2 YPC game so far so I'm guessing he had a big run.

I missed that drive doing "laundry". :unsure

he had a 12 yard run

Anyone a little concerned about Ferguson? Even before the concussion, seems like he took a big step back this year.

That's a man's catch.

By the way, announcers, they aren't calling helmet to helmet they are calling defenseless receiver.

I'm not going to judge Ferguson too harshly right now. Every receiver gets at least a bit of a pass considering what they have at QB right now.

what was he supposed to do? let him catch it and take a few steps before tackling him?

Hard disagree.

Most of the recent super bowl winners and participants haven't had a dominant RB1.

I think all you need is a good overall rushing attack.

My definition of RB1 is a lead RB who gets you 1200+ yards.
