Looks like me playing NCAA Football and accidently hitting the spin button instead of something else. And then it magically works out awesome.
Yeah, I'll never say the spin is cheese in video game football again after that return. :lol

It was also a one time thing. Poorly played by Washington.

I wouldn't be surprised if today was a fluke and we go right back to playing like we were before.

We can beat the Giants because they're openly tanking, but we could lose out after that.

The defense has been playing a lot better than expected (in my opinion) over the last 3-4 games, including against Houston aside from maybe 2-3 drives. They've just been getting buried in the 2nd half as our offense goes 3 and out 75% of the time or turns it over constantly.

I didn't think it'd continue but I guess it will, and if so we'll probably win 2-3 more.

By the way, top 5 was never realistic. If you want a tank I have bad news for you.

I thought we'd win maybe 2-3 more coming into today, with an outside chance of just 1 if things really went south. Now that we won an unexpected one I still stand by that 2-3, which would put us at 6 or 7 wins.

Top 5 is likely out but we should still end up in the 8-14 range, which is prime Jeanty territory.

I could even see Graham potentially falling to that range.

And if not there are some other options at DT/DE. It's not like we would be screwed. Maybe you draft Harmon or McMillan.

Agreed.

I've been brushing up on Harmon a bit and I gotta say, early returns are looking good.

Yeah like I have said before, trying to find that balance between undersized and weak against the run but not a sloth against the pass. Harmon seems like a nice combination. Obviously Graham is sort of the standard of both big and good at rushing the passer. But I think Harmon has potential to be really good against the run and still create pressure.

The exact right attitude.

Go watch him against Boise St. if you want to see pressure, he didn't have a TFL or sack but he dominated as a pass rusher while still being stout against the run.

We could split those. Might get blown out by Bengals.

That's pretty much what I expect. Beat the Giants and Panthers, lose the others. That is very realistic and puts us at 6 wins. It's not impossible that we win another somewhere along the line and finish with 7.

We aren't good, especially with Rush, but if the defense continues to play better this was never a 3 win team.

Yeah 8-14 is pretty likely. I'm perfectly fine with that. Historically we've done very well in that range.

For all the talk of Washington being hyped for this game they didn’t really show it. I watched the second half and while some of it was fun to see, this team can’t even tank right.

I question whether or not I want to spite watch for an Eagles loss or an hour and half of sleep.

Tough choice.
