2024 Season | Week 12 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Redskins | 11/24/2024

I think this is the Washington side of that loss. It was nice not really caring if we won or lost, and it was one of the craziest games I've ever seen. There will be many videos of Skins fans breaking TVs over that one.
That missed XP had to sting.

I'm sure they were already prepping for OT in their minds. :lol

The Vikings are another team that seems like frauds.

Would rather see more teams from the NFC West in the playoffs than the fraudulent Vikings or Commanders. The Falcons are ass too but I think they’ll definitely lose the division to the Bucs.

Welp, guess we'll have to figure out who to take between Harmon, Pearce, Jeanty, Walker and Mykel Williams at 10.

Once we beat the Giants next week I think the top 5 ship will have sailed.

Strange things happen when a team knows their season is over before Thanksgiving.

Just like we surprisingly won today, we could surprisingly lose on Thursday.

True, I'm glad we won this one simply out of principle alone, the luck the Skins have had has been bullshit and needed to run out. Losing one to the Giants or Panthers would make it worth it.

The dummies will be there, Jane. They bought their tickets last March.

I think there will be people in the stadium and not because of those dummies who bought their tickets long before the season started, but so many of those folks aren't going to want to go....so they're going to sell their tickets off cheap and there will always be people willing to go to a game like that if they can do so at a low price.

And those are the folks who are going to be there in Thursday.

I was watching some of their game and they looked like a team that was simply going through the motions.

No surprise given the comments that came out of there after Daniel Jones was benched.

The demographic you're referencing are typically the real/hard core fans who have been priced out of attending games in person. For them it's not about just showing up to be seen.

Right.

And I don't think Cowboys Stadium tickets have the been cheaper than they were this week.

Those folks that normally can't afford to go will take advantage of this opportunity.

So, I haven't been paying much attention to the league the last month or so.

Why is Purdy out for the niners? Has he been out long?

It'll be ok. Doesn't it seem like mostly the same teams picking top 5? Most of the teams winning super bowls don't seem to be doing it off the back of top 5 picks.

Every team can use a top 5 pick but our season next year doesn't hinge on it.

It doesn't although being able to add a Parsons-esque stud like Carter would be pretty impactful. Graham might still fall to us if we're around 8-12 and taking Jeanty would be much easier to stomach at 11 than 6 so that's something.

Correct. They need to adjust their approach to free agency otherwise it'll be more of the same, regardless of where they end up drafting.
