I think a solid FA pickup at DE was needed to help us deep into the season. Parsons has shown he simply loses steam at the end of every year.

Yea I can't believe they're still letting him play an extra 15+ snaps in the 4th quarter while we're up buy 20.

That sound you hear is the collective freak out all at once for McCaffrey owners.

It was pretty obvious that last year was his peak and that he'll probably go downhill from there. He's 28 and had like 430 touches last season when you include the playoffs, normally this is the age RB's start declining pretty fast anyway so this isn't overly surprising.

I'm sure he'll still be really good in spurts but the injuries will start to take a toll and I don't think you'll ever see him reach the level he was at last year.

I can't believe we had a similar random thought on Rodgers at the same damn time.

Given how fragile that guy has proven to be the last few years, and his age, I cannot understand the hype that is surrounding both him and the Jets this year.

Even last year I thought it was overblown but when you consider that he tore his achilles on the first drive of the game, how could anyone think that there is a realistic possibility that he's going to hold up this season?
