We are on the verge of rooting for Washington in an NFCC more than the Cowboys since 1996.
 
If Washington pulls this off the Cowboys will have the longest active drought for NFC teams not making the conference championship game.

Only the Dolphins will have a longer streak overall.

I know watching divisions rivals have success won't faze the Joneses at all, but I can at least hope that seeing the Skins and Eagles make deep playoff runs makes the Cowboys fan base finally wake up and start demanding more from ownership.

Doubtful but one can dream.
