Loved the Pro Bowl as a kid, when the defenses still tried. It was surreal seeing Theismann consulting with Landry on the sideline. I was wondering why Staubach was having such a shitty game at the 1980 Pro Bowl. Turns out he was contemplating retirement and couldn't focus on the game.

I'll still check out the MLB all star game.

Aside from a few small incidents like Kruk's AB vs Randy Johnson and the debacle from the early 2000s where they ran out of players, the MLB All-Star game is played pretty straight forward.

Yeah it's not even a real game anymore. But it hasn't been a "real game" in a long time. I used to even enjoy the skills competitions but even those have become just silly.
 
After the Brees and Moorman injuries they turned it into a little better than flag football and I stopped watching it.
