I mean it was really bad. Any other player and those are called holds. I get it, Parsons is so good that it happens really frequently and to call all the holds would make the game a mess. But it's also bogus to have a different set of rules for different players. And I bet if you started to call the holds, guys would hold less.

Dumb. How many teams have three or four truly good DEs? Or LBs or CBs?

Even teams with good depth are going to have a dropoff when this many guys get hurt. And not just "guys", but good players.

That last part does matter. Prescott was around for half the year and looked like ass.

Running the ball on offense, and pretty much every phase of the defense, were the big issues in the first half.

Props to them for getting both issues addressed to the point that they have been playing well and beating solid teams.

But really it's been about defense. It's kind of that simple.

In every loss this season they've given up 27 or more points (including several over 30 and a couple over 40). Giving up 27 would have gotten them beat last night.

Are they just letting him do whatever he wants? Maybe they need some structure for him. Rush has open wrs quite often. Dak doesn't. Has to be more than daring him because Dowdle until yesterday was running rampant.

I just don’t get how it took a half season and suddenly guys are getting separation.
