To be fair to Dak, they wouldn't have used any of those savings to go out and sign anybody anyway and maybe Dak and his agent know that.

Let's be honest here and remove our fandom from the equation -- If you are an agent and your job was to get the most for your client and for yourself, and that player played for the Cowboys, why on earth would you NOT get every dime if you know how frugal they are every year come free agency?

If you want a player to take a team-friendly deal, then you've got to give that player an incentive to do so.

Think about that for a moment. That could cement the DCCs ability to last FOREVER because Jerry is basically 75% of the conversation around here.

The DCC would never die anyway. It's already been proven with how many times we hear "I'm done with this shit" every year. Yet, every year those people are still here.

People can claim they don't follow or watch. But we all know... they do.

Eh, I can say 100% I’m not glued to the TV or ESPN like in years past about the Cowboys.

To me Jerry really has taken a different turn in running the team in the last few years and it’s been tough to watch and think what could have been when we do win 11/12/13 games and just fall flat in the big games because your teams “GM” isn’t really REALLY all in.

Regardless I still pop in here, spend money to keep the site going (as many others do) etc because of the guys and the familiarity/friendship. After all, I’d bet there aren’t many boards out there whose members send gifts or flowers, money or whatever to your house when family dies or have members who truly know very personal details about each other like we do here.

Damn good group of guys here for sure, despite Jerry’s fucktardery.

Dak doesn’t totally suck… however he’s extremely inconsistent…on one play he’ll air mail one over the guys head or throw behind the guy.. but the next play he’ll thread the needle and toss a dime…I think the problem is he hasn’t progressed into that “ elite “ status and now he’s just injury riddled… Dak can’t run anymore and after this latest injury his mobility is going to be even worse …
