Don’t think anyone gives a shit if Guyton can play or not anymore.

I certainly do!

Why wouldn't we want our #1 draft pick and guy that we all hope can be a franchise player to not keep playing and developing throughout his rookie season?

Sure, he's struggled.... But do you think we should give up on him after 5 games into his NFL career and consider him a lost cause already?

That would be absurd.

I honestly think Tyler Smith at LT and Bass at LG is a great situation. I know he is a better LG and all that. But having a power run blocker at LT is very beneficial to this offense and I think Bass is a really good guard. To pair those two together I think right now at least gives you two really good run blockers and pass protectors on the left side of your line. Even at his best Guyton is not a great run blocker yet.

Anyway, I'd give Guyton at least through the by week to get fully healthy and maybe longer. We will need him again this year but I would definitely take my team, let him work on getting back to good technique and then worry about putting him back out there.

Just don't put Edoga out there. If that's the plan fuck it and put Guyton back out there.

I'd go with Smith and Bass. Let the rookie sit a year, work on some strength, watch tape and move him back to RT to replace Steele next year.

I'm with the idea of moving him to RT and letting Smith play left, but there is no better development than live action.

If he can play, he needs to.

That contract is keeping Steele a Cowboy

Yes and no. I think his technique has gone downhill. It's just not second nature to him yet. You don't want the poor technique to just become a habit. What you want is for the good technique to become a habit. So that when you're tired, you're going against a Bosa or Watt or whoever you use the good technique without even thinking. I think he was really good in camp. But that's because he was using the technique he was learning. I just don't want him to sort of continue to revert.

Guyton might have been a little dinged, too. I saw him grab at his leg earlier in the game, so maybe it was hampering him until it finally got bad enough to have to leave the game.

Also true. Kind of like Brandin Cooks just didn't look good to me this year. Come to find out his knee is bothering him and he has been getting injections. Ultimately he had a procedure done and infection followed. Sometimes we don't really know the health situation of players.

It's crazy that Rashee Rice's injury could be less severe than Kneeland's.

Don't know about that. They are doing an exploratory on Rice's knee which is rare these days with all the imaging they can do.

Oh yeah? Who says Jones doesn’t care about winning m-f’ers!!! :dunce
