I'll gladly take Belichick.

If nothing else, he'll do what Parcells did and change the culture.... at least temporarily.

We just have to hope that he makes good hires as the assistant level.

Bringing in Belichick with Daboll as OC after he gets inevitably fired from the Giants would make a lot of sense.

Pretty impressive how almost all of his touches are productive ones.

Give him the ball more.

Yeah honestly outside of Lamb and Ferg he kind of feels like our most productive weapon on offense. He catches the ball and actually has good run after the catch. He runs the ball well. He does good in pass pro. I really have no complaints other than I'm not sure exactly what he is and I hate the term Swiss army knife. He is a little TE, he is a little FB and he is a little RB. Either way I'd much rather get the ball in his hands than some of these other guys we keep forcing.

I like Luepke as much as anyone. He's a great piece to have. Only problem is, we need more big plays, and he's not really fast enough to do that. We have Lamb and that's it, especially as Cooks seems to have declined. I still think Deuce could do that a little bit, but it's clear they'll never give him enough carries to get in a rhythm. We need speed at RB and WR, but of course that's pretty much impossible this year.

I do think he needs more touches.

But the one caution I'd have is that teams aren't paying much attention to him when he's in there because we don't use him much.

So more touches are going to get the attention of defenses and he may be less effective.

I don't think Deuce will do it as a runner. But if they can get him in space as a receiver, maybe.

Yeah I agree with this. But what I like specifically about him is his run after catch or just running in general. He seems to be one of the few guys outside of Lamb who has the ability to run through a tackle. We have way too many plays that go just as far as they are blocked or caught and then down.

I certainly don't want to over use the guy but right now it feels like he is more useful than our backup TEs or runs to Turpin.

Completely agree.

I've just given up hope again. I see glimpses in preseason where I'm like, look at the guy break a dudes ankles. But then regular season hits and I just don't see anything.

I'd much rather have someone like Frank Gore Jr on the roster. He isn't big either but he is a monster compared to Deuce.
