I have no doubt that this season will begin with Zeke as the starter until he proves he can't run. Then other guys will start getting more carries.

Trick question... Zeke will never prove to Jerry that he can't run.

I believe it. Dak was looking for a shorter contract when he was in his 20s and got it so he could go for another huge one in his early 30s. Now he wants a longer contract because he'll be shot in a few years, probably around 34. He's already had a big decline physically after that ankle injury.

With his ankle issue, not surprised he's now wanting a longer deal...

I think they'll split carries fairly evenly so who the starter is probably is a non-issue.

But I'm not just going to take Machota's word for it.

I remember when we heard this about Pollard and Zeke. But Zeke still got most the carries. Call me skeptical.

I will say that I'm skeptical that Dowdle will suddenly emerge as the top guy. I doubt he distinguishes himself as the clear best player.

Quinn saw a body type with Wright that he loved. Fehoko doesn't really have the body type anyone gets excited about.

Wright was his knuckle dragging freakish long arms. Fehoko was not physically special in any way.

Fehoko showed some nice pass rush counters in college and had really good production, but he seems to have just been too physically limited.
