The Cowboys had an insane $504 million in operating income in 2022, and almost certainly higher than that in 2023.

There is literally no reason to be cheap, other than greed.

Yes, I get that money must front all the next season’s signing bonuses and new team/marketing projects the following year, but even with the family’s Gulfstream jet and two other planes, helicopter, $22 million+ per year mega yacht, and all those growing and aging kids suckling off the family teat, I can’t imagine where they sock away $504 million.

It’s over $200 million more than the next NFL football team

Most of that 504 mil has been invested in widgets through Bluestar.

They'd be smart to resign him if it's something like 12/year. Maybe go up to 14-15 if it's a ridiculous 6-7 year deal or something with a bunch of fluff.

But if it's one of these shorter 3-4 year deals that are becoming the norm, 12 is the number.

I mean seriously the guy is your starting center. He has been here for 4 years and you know so little about the player. A dude who you're supposed to be making contract decisions on. It's a fucking joke. I swear these guys don't even watch the games. They are like Joe casual fans. They know who Dak, Parsons and Lamb are but I honestly don't think they know a thing about half the roster. They definitely know nothing of players on other teams.

Yeah, I'm surprised Hurts is still hanging that high on any list. I thought he got exposed last year for what he is.

These lists are difficult. QB being as important as it is, should have a lot of guys packing the top of the list.

Although I'd make an argument that Lamb is more important to our offense. Or at least equally important. Our offense doesn't work without Lamb in my opinion.

True about Lamb, but that's more of a team issue. Obviously Lamb is great but the offense is ass without Lamb because they've done an awful job putting talent at the skill positions.

Had they kept Amari, Lamb would be much less important.
