You have to work with the scraps you're given in year 1.

Ideally I'd like to see all of our LBs be at least 230 lbs.
The game has changed to where they have to be fast, strong, aggressive, and around 230-235.

And the DL has to take most of the hits for them

I'm with shrimp on this one. Do squats and power cleans and the traditional football stuff.

I understand the IG gurus have to reinvent the wheel to stay relevant, but that doesn't mean all their goofy exercises are particularly useful.

I'm with you on this.

It's especially noticeable with NBA players.

Today's athletes are supposed to be bigger, faster, and stronger but their durability sure does suck compare to past generations.

Yeah, kinda weird. Pitchers too. Blowing out elbows left and right. They say they throwing harder or whatever, but are they? I don't remember guys like Gibson, Kofax, Seaver, Clemons, Ryan, Johnson fucking their arms up all the time.

I've seen a couple of articles that have pointed to spin rate as the culprit for all the pitching injuries.

Koufax actually had a really bad elbow that cut his career short
Yeah, but he pitched for 12 seasons even though he retired at 30. And holy shit, looks at those stats on a bad arm. :lol
