It sucks, but we gotta get used to this.

This is the new age of athletes. They all want attention and fame and they're all about using their status as athletes to promote themselves.

This isn't going to change so expecting hard-nosed, football-is-life type guys just isn't realistic.
 
If Micah beasts out all year without a fall off, then fine I'll accept his insolence.

Anything less though and he gets the crooked eye.

Yep. It's a new era and the athletes with the mindset we liked from ages past are few and far between now.

Yeah but those types are the exceptions now.

I'd venture to say that the average team is made up of only 25% of those types with the remainder being more like the Micah's and Odell Beckham's.

They post EVERYTHING they do on social media, they all hang out together, they all do podcasts or streams, etc.

Again, this is no different than what all young people do these days, but it's more in your face with athletes because they're rich and their fame already affords them a level of followers and attention that the average young person works so hard to attain.

This generation lives for this shit so it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

he absolutely didnt meet his personal very high standards. I hope that was an exception, and that this year he's healthy and back to his old badass self. He is the leader of that suddenly young group now.
 
Well I guess that settles it. It's just his style to not show up for basically anything in the offseason.

I really hope Coach Bro DQ didn't ruin this guy.

I just hope it's not too late to change him. Watching that interview, I think he's a good guy, he's just been misguided.

Watched the Tyler Smith interview afterwards, and he's awesome. Smart and a great attitude. Love that dude. Wish Micah could think more like him.
 


Shit. Now he is referring to himself in the third person.
