What about the fans? Shouldn't they be ashamed of continuing to follow the team? Buying tickets, merch? You'll see the same brain-dead goobers in the stands, wearing the same jerseys, the same bling. The same brain-dead posters on this site and others, the same X feeds, the same columns written by the same clueless hacks.

Jerry knows that. That's why he's not ashamed. Why should he be?

Werder should just admit that this isn't about some Jerry motivational tactic. It's that he hates paying coaches to not work for him.

It's been since 2010 that he fired a coach early, and then he barely had to pay any more (if at all) because Garrett was already on staff.

To be fair we have only had 2 coaches since.

Our defense couldn’t stop any of their drives. Are you seriously disputing this?

Forty f’ing 8 points. Our offense turned the ball over, yes, but that game was 100% on the defense.

Every drive… Touchdown. No team can withstand that.

Dude, you're picking at details. They scored on Every. Drive. Until it didn't matter any more.

Nothing the offense does means anything next to that. Every drive.

Until you can grasp that defense is the problem, you can't solve it.

The 49ers allowed 21 points, and within that limit, even Brock Purdy won a game (with a team of all-pro's on his side). In the 2014 postseason, Russell Wilson overcame 4 interceptions to beat the Packers at home thanks to a botched onsides kick and greater thanks to his amazing defense.

Could a Dak-led offense eventually score 24 points if his defense at least kept him in it? I have no doubt.

But against Dallas in perfect conditions with apparently no defensive resistance, the Packers scored on every drive until they got tired of scoring more. They seriously could have kept going. It was a historic, complete and utter defensive collapse and overall embarrassment.

Even 2007 Brady/Moss/Welker could have done nothing against that.

We have to fix the LB and DL problem, the very concern the front office failed to address by ONLY drafting Mazi and doing literally nothing else this last offseason despite understanding the problem!

It's not a Quinn, McCarthy, or Dak issue, but a Jerry issue. Mazi was not a fix, nor at all a hedge vs LVE dropping to yet another neck injury.

A real GM might have understood that. Ours did not.

Both sides definitely stank in the playoff game, but in the offense's case the way they played all year there's evidence to believe they had a bad day or weren't ready to match the Packers' physicality with the WR's. Then when they got behind by multiple TD's they had to go into pass-only mode.

Regarding the defense, with 5 of Quinn's worst 7 outings happening in 2023 it has become clear that it is systemic.

Nope, no but. Both sides stunk, period.

If you want to drag the wholes season in, fine.

Where was the offense against SF? Against Buffalo? Against Ari freaking zona?

The defense also had problems throughout the year absolutely.

Both are a problem and need fixing.
