I didn't think he was coming here but I also did not see him going to a middle to bottom tier college football program. Must be some real babies at UNC.

We are well into Al Davis territory now. I would be very embarrassed if I still gave af. I hope they experience great difficulty finding someone to coach here next season.

I think it gets worked out. If they're already ok making his son the coach-in-waiting, I can't imagine there are any other challenges they couldn't resolve.

This is clearly Belichick trying to smoke out interest from the NFL, if he ends up taking it I think it means nobody is interested this cycle, including Dallas.

Mike actually explained this at the PC the other day. Said you don't just have all-block or all-return calls. There are different versions of each. Sometimes on a return call, you still rush one or two guys just to put on a little heat and make sure the punter doesn't have all day to directionally kick it to the sideline or OB. That's what this was. The guy blocking Vigil just blew his assignment so he had a chance.
It made total sense and was pretty interesting, actually.
