Is it me, or more than most years many of these hires don't make sense?

I gotta say, one of the few scenarios that would've pissed me off more than keeping McCarthy would've been if we had made Quinn HC and hired some limp dick pretty boy OC who is living off a reputation from like 7 years ago.
How does that guy keep fooling people? I truly don't get it.

They show laziness and ineptitude. We are not the only fucked up front office. The only problem is we can’t fire our GM for shitty results.

I kind of feel that way every year but honestly it's true almost every year. A lot of the hires won't actually work out as highlighted by the fact that there's so much turnover every year.

If it's worse in the last few years it's almost certainly because teams are way too eager to hire young hotshots with little to no track record.

I know a lot of people are clamoring for us to do that (including with coordinators) but I'm glad we don't normally do that. I feel like it fails more often than it succeeds.

:lol

Jesus Christ, not only is Kingsbury a mediocre offensive designer, he's also likely to stunt the growth of whatever QB they take because his offenses are such simplistic bullshit.

Quinn is already out of his depth.

He's a metrosexual though, and that's all the rage nowadays.

Sure but he has 0 ties to the metrosexual offense itself.
