So would you say he throws it well enough to be worthy of a top 5 (or 3 or 4) pick?
Eh sometimes it's hard to tell when a guy can run for 200 yards in any game. Sort of helps make the passes easier.

How good a prospect do you guys think Jayden Daniels is? I didn't see a single LSU game this year. I read that he's a great athlete but his arm talent is so-so. True?
He has more arm talent than guys like Hurts but he ran a pretty simplistically designed pass offense from what I saw and his running ability was a fail safe that they often went to. Considering he's rail thin I don't see the running ability translating for very long in the NFL, although he'll be dynamic for 2-3 years if he can stay healthy.
He also had two first round WR's that made his life much easier.
He's worth a dice roll in the top 10 but I'd lean towards Maye since his play style is more sustainable, although he has some sizable warts as well.
It's Lamar Jackson 2.0. If you remember him in college the guy was just insane as a runner and he put up great passing stats too because the running ability opened up those simple throws. I guess you could also sort of say Justin Fields is in that same category. I think Jayden Daniels is going to be about the same size as Lamar Jackson. Who I think a lot of people thought was too skinny to be running the ball as well. But guys like that make you miss, they don't run you over.
I think a lot will depend on the team the guy goes and the plan for developing him. The Ravens had an excellent plan with Jackson and have brought his passing skills along slowly. I don't know if the same can be said for Fields yet for example. Jayden Daniels is in that type of line as a QB.
On a side note I'm a big fan of Brian Thomas Jr. and Adonai Mitchell. I know it sucks to be talking about WR's in the first of the draft when you have Lamb. But man we really need to take some of the pressure off Lamb so we don't have games where Lamb isn't cooking and Dak looks like he has no idea what to do. Those two guys really impress me that more I watch of them. They are big but they aren't these slow dudes who just use their bodies to catch balls. I'm also watching Legette at the Senior Bowl. Dude is a freak, has size and honestly the one year production is all that is hurting him. He reminds me of a young TO in so many ways.
Thomas, yes, Mitchell feh (in the first), Legette I have to watch more of.
Neither do I.I don't think he is what we need.
