Oh yea, that'll be a done deal in about a week.

How much does he have left in the tank? I mean he kind of makes sense as a real veteran leader with the young guys. But I feel like we need him a few years earlier in his career.

No idea, his stats look pretty impressive but I haven't watched him closely. If/when he actually signs I'll watch some all-22.

A lot of people on Reddit saying that Kendricks hated Zimmer so maybe it won't happen.

Once the team decided to fire Zimmer, some Vikings players spoke about the behind-the-scenes from within the team’s building. Kendricks was one such player, noting that playing within a “fear-based” culture is counterproductive:

"A culture where communication is put at the forefront and no matter what your role is on the staff, you having a voice and being able to communicate things that you think could help facilitate wins. I think just having that voice, no matter how big your role is, is important, to listen up and take each other’s feelings into account. I don’t think a fear-based organization is the way to go."

Yeah, please pass on the players who think they should run the defense and Zim is too mean.

It's funny because Kendricks had a lot of success in that defense. Talking about feelings and shit. It's football.

Interesting.

If Kendricks gets his feelings hurt, we don’t need him.

~inserts fuck his ass gif~

That quote was also from right after Zimmer was fired so I think it with a grain of salt. The guy has been away from Zimmer for two years in different systems, if I had to guess he's seeing the end of his career coming soon and probably realizes that he had his best years under Zimmer, so why not just spend your last season or two on a good team in a system you already know inside and out.
