That might mean some very average rushing stats, especially early in the year. We just have to stick with it. But by years end I see us running effectively, even with Rico Dowdle.

It means the defense straight up has to carry us.

Exactly. We have what looks like a couple Achilles heels but generally I don't see us as being particularly a different overall quality team than we've been in the past few years.

We should be pretty good against mediocre or worse teams, and most of the league is mediocre or worse.

The problem as has been for the past few years is when we face the top 5-10 teams. But there's only so many of those. Unfortunately that's mostly what you face in the playoffs.
