Always cool when a kid from your high school hits big. Our most notable is CB Steven Nelson and a few other guys who had a cup of coffee in the NFL.

 
 
Are they gonna have to ban flags or some shit before someone gets hurt?

Yup.... That's what I said yesterday.

It's time to ban the planting of flags anywhere on the opponents field.

It's great to beat a hated rival and there's all sorts of ways that you can laugh at them and taunt them after having beaten them, especially in the age of social media.

But planting a flag on someone's field is disrespectful and it's a blatant move to rub the opponent's face in it and quite frankly, it's bush league.

I’m sure it’ll be banned in the offseason, given there were fights in the Michigan-Ohio State, Florida-Florida State, UNC-NC State, and Arizona-Arizona State games over those types of actions.

His teams are soft, just like he is. Say what you want about how terrible Michigan was this season, we’re a tough team. Not much talent on offense, but tough as nails.

And there was almost one yesterday in the Texas vs A&M game but Steve Sarkisian made his players get away from midfield because he knew what they were there to do.

I don't know what set them off yesterday. Teams have been imitating Baker's flag in previous years but I don't recall there ever being a brawl over it. Sure, teams exchanged words but I don't remember teams actually fighting over it.

I don’t recall any fights in the past, either. But, for whatever reason, there were a bunch of them yesterday.

And, to remind people, Texas planted its flag on Michigan in Ann Arbor when the Longhorns handed us our asses earlier this year. I didn’t care then, and still don’t care now.

I disagree. Ohio State should be forced to forfeit its wins and accept a 10 year ban from the college football playoff and all bowl games.

I will have to deny your petition.

While my decision is completely unbiased it's the only correct answer to this unfolding situation. We can't let bias creep into our decision making else we become the new Alabama/media/ref/ncaa script writer of the college football world.

However you do raise some good ideas and will have to up the punishment for the Univerity of Texas to a 20 year ban from all football activities.

Afterall we just want to be fair.

I can appreciate your lack of bias, but your motion is denied. It’s clear that both programs should receive a 15-year ban, along with Alabama being placed on sanctions, to remedy this disagreement.

I was listening to a Braylon Edwards interview today and he mentioned this. He said Oregon did it to Michigan as well, and Michigan didn't try to start a fight over it.
