2024 College Football Chatter

And what a classic uniform Penn State has.

No wacky fonts, no random stripes or patches attempting to look cool or different, just a great match of colors with a simple but classic look.

It's one of the beauties in all of football, college or pro.
I admire the few programs that have resisted the Nike push to these ridiculous 100 different alt uniforms.

And funny how it's usually the blueblood (or adjacent) schools that hold the line.

Kinda like Notre Dame's.

Kinda like Notre Dame's.

Exactly.

Those are my two favorite unis in all of college football, but I don't like Notre Dame's look since they went to Under Armor.

The pants almost look like a sand color and the helmet looks more brass than gold.

They need to go back to their classic shade of gold for both their helmet and pants.

Penn State is moving the ball well this drive, but you can see how a lack of a number one receiver is hurting them on this drive.

They're laboring to get down the field as Allars is either having to tuck it and run or hold it until the last second only to dump it off to the back.

It's going to be interesting to see what Penn State does when Ohio State inevitably adjusts to this.

Whether college or pro, it's still all the classic looks that look the best.

Cowboys, Raiders, 49ers, Packers, Penn State, Notre Dame, USC, Ohio State, etc.

What a great jump that was.

Just an outstanding defensively play. That was textbook stuff from Tracy.

Some of the Cowboys corners could learn from that kid.

Another uni fanatic. Data and I welcome you with open arms.

To no surprise, Penn State is having a tough time moving the ball in the air.

I would love to see Abdul Carter in a Cowboys uniform.

Master Belichick comes to Dallas, converts us to a 3-4 defense, and he sets Parsons and Carter loose to wreak havoc on offenses as OLB's.

A man can dream.

Yea just get a bunch of roadblocks on the interior who can absorb blocks/stop the run and let Parsons/Carter hunt.

Carter is one of the few guys I'd take over Jeanty.

Damn.... That might be the play that loses the game for Penn State because I don't know how many TD drives that offense has in them.

I like Allars.

I think he has all the tools you want in a QB and I love his ability to sense pressure and buy time in the pocket.

I think he'd be a higher rated prospect if he actually had some receivers to throw to.

Nobody gets open.

All they have to do is neutralize Warren and not even worry about the rest.

How is Carter's podcast game?

What a terrible series of plays.

I don't mind the run, but to go jumbo on all 4 downs and to run the exact same play 3 times in a row is just dumb.

You gotta get a little more creative than that.

Going to be a tough week for Jerrry. Arkansas giving up 63 to Ole Miss.
