2024 College Football Chatter

Yeah, I was like WTF?

I'm at my dad's house and I thought I was going crazy when I went to ABC and I saw that message because I was certain we were watching ABC just earlier.

Luckily I've got FuboTV so I just casted it from my phone to the TV.

I have YouTube TV so I'm not affected.....this time.

Wow what a dime.

I thought it was gonna be up for grabs but as that ball came down, you could see the trajectory was going to leave it in a spot where only the receiver could catch it.

Great throw.

LSU has done a great job getting their TE open.

Agreed.

The play design has been really impressive.

The passes have been short but each time they've managed to get the ball to him with plenty of space and room to run.

It's interesting watching Nussmeier light things up immediately, kind of puts Daniels into perspective last year. I always felt his production was kind of inflated and seeing how Nussmeier played in their bowl game last year and tonight seems to confirm that.

There's also the fact that he had 2 1st round WR's last year, but what I didn't realize is that he also had 2 first round OT's (Campbell and Jones), they'll just go in the first a year later.

They put insane talent around their QBs.

There haven't been a ton of points in this one but the QB play has been quite good from both teams.

That's a great catch and throw and with the defender grabbing and pulling at the receiver.

That's a big time catch and while taking a helmet to helmet shot.

Incredible play by that kid.

What a game. USC’s defense finally looked decent, and they’ve already found their replacement to Caleb Williams. Miller Moss can play. He looked so calm and cool under pressure. Totally different player than the chaotic sandlot style of Caleb Williams.

It also doesn’t help that Dabo refuses to use the transfer portal and NIL. If he did, then he’d be able to compete more effectively with the premier teams again. Instead, he turning Clemson back into, well, Clemson.

I don't think they win that game if Caleb were still there. Moss playing within the system and getting the ball out on time is what gave LSU fits. Caleb would have been back there trying to play hero ball all night, looking for big plays, holding the ball too long allowing passing windows to close.

It's crazy that other than the service academies, Clemson is the only FBS school not to bring in at least one player from the transfer portal.

Our defense, especially the secondary, fucking sucks. It's going to be a long season.
I just saw the score.

Y'all let Abilene Christian put up 51.

Yikes.
