The turnovers being created by the defense are covering up a lot of the offense's warts.

If not for the short fields created by the turnovers, I doubt they'd have broken 20 points.

We're old men so his flamboyant attitude rubs us the wrong way. When we were younger we embraced our flashy, flamboyant players.

I think what matters most is what his teammates think of him and his leadership ability inside the locker room. If he checks those boxes, I'd be fully onboard with pursuing him in the draft.

I actually think he's better inside the pocket than Caleb Williams. He just doesn't have Caleb Williams' ability to make "WOW" highlight plays .

Let's be honest, so many of the week 1 games are against weak opponents for a reason.

It's basically the college equivalent of the preseason so a lot of what you saw today was probably just OU trying shit out.

They'll be fine.
 
The Iowa offense appears to be in midseason form.

That's a program that could use a hard reset....coaching staff and all.

Preliminary thought is that I'd prefer Sanders over him for sure, although there's obviously a long way to go. I'd be kind of surprised if either of them were the top ranked QB next year.

I keep seeing stuff about him being a 1st round pick, but to me he's just another Stetson Bennett.

He's definitely more physically talented but he doesn't do much of anything that's impressive. If he had Bennett's brain he'd probably go first overall.

I like Drew Allar and Quinn Ewers as prospects way more than Beck.
