There goes that I guess.

As an aside, he's made 69 million in his career. Hard to have sympathy.
I agree, but, at least he may be warning young up and coming athletes about the meds they put in you to make sure you can play. I can respect that.

How does this affect his Presidential chances?

I sincerely hope Payton fails in Denver.

No but you wonder why some guys get a big pay day and then their career goes down hill. Some dudes bodies just sort of don't hold up like this. It's a young man's game for the speed positions.

You guys won’t appreciate this, but I’m loving this.

Being a sports card nerd, I watched for two years while guys were spending $5k-$10k nightly in card breaks to try and land the patriots in order to get his cards.

The best trade I made last year was a Mac Jones gold RPA(sticker auto out of a retail box)out of a box called “Contenders”. I traded “down” for a Gem Mint 10 pink florescent Tom Brady numbered 1/10.

Mac cards that were selling for upwards of $20k regularly(one in particular went for $250k if I recall correctly) will soon be $50-$100 cards if he keeps trending down.

It’s awesome.

You are a degenerate.

Mac Jones cards were going for 20k? Were they printed on literal gold?

Yeah, the card game has gotten stupid since the pandemic. There are boxes of cards that cost upwards of $10k. More often than not you’re pulling out maybe $1k in value. The ceilings are astronomical though.

I saw a $1.2million LeBron card get pulled around this time last year.

People have lost their fucking minds spending that kind of money on God damned cardboard.
Shit. At least you can hold it in a case or something.

How about these retards who invested real money in NFTs?

I saw some bitch win the Lotto too once

Download “whatnot” on your smart phone.

live stream box breaking, single teams going from $1 all the way up to $5k depending on the product(s) being opened.

It’s not easy to explain the game, but it’s gotten way out of hand. I don’t know what most of these guys do for a living, but off the top of my head I know of a few that spend $5-$10k PER NIGHT. Some of these guys are spending a million per year having someone else open cards and mail them to them.

Who knows how much their spending at local card shops, card shows and ordering online.

I think the same thing, the most I’ll spend is $500 on a single break, but most of the time I spend $50-$75 to get in a break.

To be clear, getting a team in a break gives you the rights to every card for each team you buy. Sometimes you don’t get anything.
