I still defend him. He obviously has declined some but he's better than he's been getting credit for. Still a solid RB. I think if the Patriots resist overusing him, he'll be pretty there.

Oops. Lost track of the thread when I saw the word "fat." I meant Adam defended safety Roy Williams. Who was indeed fat.

I think he's proven to be a good QB when put in the right situation.

As long as he's not pushing to receive a $40M+ per year contract, I wouldn't have an issue extending him if I were a Lions fan.

$25M-$30M per year seems fair for a QB of his caliber. A lot of QBs in that 3rd or 4th tier of QB rankings price themselves out of a job trying to chase big contracts.

Agree, I actually love that he revived his career after leaving Mr Ultimate QB Whisperer McVay.
