Aside from Aubrey, this was a very sketchy year for this unit.

Seems like we do everything better at home. I am very relieved that we have the #2 seed. It's kind of crazy to me how much better we are at home this year.

Three reasons I can see:

1) Fluke of the schedule: We played every challenging game on the road and most if not all home game were creampuffs. We caught Philadelphia at the start of their decline and the Rams before they got hot.

2) Team speed: The speed of our smaller defenders and Pollard are accentuated on turf.

3) Lastly, it's relatively quiet and ATT Stadium provides environmentally perfect passing conditions, enabling Dak to use his cadence and just process the field better.

All of this is absolutely true. I think the cadence and turf are probably the biggest reasons. Our guys get better footing on the turf at home. I've seen dudes slipping and falling from our side way too much on natural grass. And then obviously the rhythm and timing of our offense all starts with Dak's cadence. Which is easy to do at home. Really difficult to do on the road with a real crowd (The Redskins game for example probably did not have what I would call a "real crowd").

I mean every NFL team has a home field advantage. When it comes to spreads it's usually good for 3 points. But the Cowboys seem to have a much larger swing than just 3 points.

Speaking of that Goodwin was hurt in early October and slated for 4-6 weeks. Any word on his return? Haven’t seen Igbinoghene on returns.

While Zack Martin is a HOF lock (1 of 25 all-time with AP1 nods. Wow!), this AP2 nod should go a long way to solidify Tyron Smith’s case. Proves his superior play over an entire career, his 12th season, not just concentrated in a short spurt.

Jerruh’s been ROH tough on OL, only Wright and Allen, but hard to not double that amount with these two.
