This seems like one of those situations where he takes two weeks to get ready to play, and then gets hurt in the first game. I think he could have helped us on a situational basis but it's not like he's going to make the Eagles into the '85 Bears.
 
That's fine. He can line up for them and not stop the run against anyone, too.

They're going to overplay him because they need him. If it's true that he's solid against the run and sucks against the pass, which seems to be the case, he won't help them much if at all. They already are good against the run. They need help in pass defense.

Jones: Would you take a league minimum contract to play for us?
Leonard: Go fuck yourself.
