Fant has zero potential as a TE, his ceiling is special teams ace and gadget offensive player.

Yeah he is kind of short and wasn't overly productive as a receiver in college. I'm not really sure what his utility is outside of special teams. Sort of too small to be a real NFL TE but not athletic or good enough to be a WR. 6'1" 238 pounds is just sort of an awkward size.

Almost wonder if Luepke is a little banged up or something. Or even if Luepke could play more on offense and they want someone to take his special teams snaps.

Need someone to take Goodwin’s place. He is getting a little old. Doubt he can keep up enough to be Bill bates status

Seattle sucks :tippytoe

Geno played out of his mind. He was getting the ball off so quickly and so accurately for the most part. He also got rid of a few balls that looked like absolute sacks. I'm not happy with the DBs in this game but on to the next. Maybe this was the gut check that gets the defense refocused.

I think for the position, expecting anything more than steady improvement from a rookie is being a little obtuse. It isn't exactly the easiest position to play, and coming from college to the NFL, just learning the plays and actually being a productive member of the offense, and not a detriment is a good thing. I think he will continue to improve, and we have the Turd showing him how it's done now.
