They are all in the same system and yet Steele is the only one struggling to this degree.

I'm not defending the blocking scheme but regardless of the scheme an OLman should not be giving up 4 sacks and a dozen pressures or whatever it was.

It's pass protection. I don't see how it could have changed that much. He knows the guy to block, he goes to block the guy and the guy whoops his ass. No excuses fix that shit or let someone else play.

Elliott wasn’t effective especially down the stretch and you couldn’t keep paying him his contract, but Pollard isn’t effective either.
See todays results re: Rico v Pollard.

He’s also fresh relative to everyone else whose played the last ten weeks. That makes a huge difference.

I totally agree. And I'd take advantage of that while giving Pollard a chance to sort of freshen up a bit.

But I don't really believe in the one man workhorse back anymore. The NFL is a different game than it used to be. I don't think there is an advantage to giving one guy the vast majority of the carries.

I agree and disagree.

I believe in the workhorse back. There just aren't a lot of them left. If you happen to have one, like a derrick Henry for example, I think it's ideal and a guy like that should dominate your carries (that doesn't mean run him into the ground).

But where I agree with you is that most teams don't have that, and if you don't have a bellcow like that you shouldn't force it. You shouldn't try to make a non-workhorse be a workhorse. It's bad for the team and bad for the player.

What's cool is some outlets captured this as a possible record last week, and Lamb broke the jinx and hit it anyway.

Dak and Lamb are totally on fire right now.
I see some confidence growing in this offense.
I cant figure out the slow start problems where they look so ordinary to bad in their first one or two series, then all starts to click and the points come.

The first drive was very very good to be fair, until they got into the red zone (admittedly the red zone play calls were bad there, but a short yardage running game would help a lot).
