Eddie George as a Cowboy was the same flavor as Cardinals Emmitt.
I have no idea why they resigned Emmitt after his bad first year with them. Was he that big a ticket draw?

Then they ground him for over 250 carries the next year. Crazy laziness to not be able to find a RB… any RB.

Derrick Henry can throw one-yard TDs, too :lol
That pathetically slow arcing pass… hilarious

Jimmy Johnson said they also wanted to try that with Emmitt until they saw that same terrible pass in practice and scrapped the play.

I think they'll do something low-key like the Hankins deal last year, I'd be surprised if they made a deal for a high profile name like Henry.
Again, something like that would have to be a deal they can’t wrap their brains around it. The Amari deal was like a panicked fever dream.

The Amari trade was a temper tantrum.

The other moves they made like cutting Collins worked out well but they were about to simply release Cooper, which was insane. Pure emotional reaction due to whatever reasons.

I think he does in a specified role. He is still a freak of nature that you can point in the right direction with simple instructions and get results.

All I can say is that as much as we try to pretend, Rico Dowdle is not a legitimate NFL backup runner.

Our OL is not a well-oiled machine. Therefore, you need a back you can create the yardage you need.

Pollard is a splash runner. It's clear. And if we continue to try to bang him into the LOS or hope he can make himself skinny and pop one every now and again...it makes no sense.

I hate it that I sound passionate for what is like a Madden trade, but it honestly makes logical sense.

It makes a lot of sense in a vacuum.

Henry and Pollard is a great pairing.

But because of Henry's age, usage, and salary I'd be very hesitant to give up much compensation to get him.

I'm more worried about doing something stupid and overpaying because we now have this MLB mentality of having to be buyers at the trade deadline than of not doing anything.

Should’ve just kept Ezekiel Elliott for $5M. Cheaper and no draft picks lost
