Dammit Turd!
Dammit Turd!
Go ahead and do what you are going to do in a couple of years anyways. Cut him.
college hoopster. Social media darling.Who is she even? Other than an attractive blonde girl.
Jesus Christ, play Deuce.
Yeah, I pointed this out the other day. It feels like we stuff a ton of runs for basically no gain or a loss. But then a team will pop a stupid long run. The Jets probably just abandoned the run to easily and never actually popped a run.
I actually think this is just how the defense is being layered by Quinn. If you have a bunch of guys up near the line of scrimmage and the offense gets past that initial wave then suddenly no one is there to defend it. I think there are adjustments that Quinn can make to help stop this stuff. I also think some of it is we just aren't defending the edges of the defense correctly and teams are able to get outside of our defensive ends for big gains. Again, this is a lot of technique stuff that I think we can fix by adjustment. You might just not get as many TFLs. Or you might not get as many pressures.
Dammit Turd!
But there were a few occasions where they lost focus, got too hyped up on their own press clippings, etc., and they got gashed due to poor run fits/miscommunication and the edge players getting too far upfield because they want to get after the QB.
We had games of bad run defense last year if I remember correctly. But yeah, part of it is losing focus. I feel like towards the end of last season Quinn adjusted some things to really stop the run. All I'm saying is I don't think it's a talent issue.
it is disconcerting that they can drop a turd like this though. why dont the Eagles and 9ers do shit like this?I don't think this particular defensive group can keep their heads when they're really flying high after a string of dominating performances unless they're in the playoffs or going up against a team they're really motivated to play, i.e. Philly/SF and so forth.
It happened last year several times and I'm sure it'll happen a few more times this season, but I think we know what they can do based on what they did in the playoffs last year.
