This is in the “never going to happen” category because this FO won’t but I was curious. Would you trade Dak for Johnathan Taylor and Gardner Minshew? It would be a salary Dump for the Cowboys add one of the best backs in the league and Minshew/Rush can be our Trent Dilfer to just not screw up and drive the bus.

No.

That "only way to get better" comment is interesting. McCarthy has made comments before that allude to taking things slowly early in the year, especially now that it's 17 games, and I very much believe that they're keeping players out who would've played if it was a more "important game".

I wouldn't even be surprised if part of the rationale was allowing guys like Bass to get real game reps under his belt against a subpar opponent in a 50/50 situation like this one with Martin in order to develop him for the future.

It'd be a preposterous mindset to have but nothing would surprise me with this group.

What's the excuse for Edoga at LT getting beaten like a drum?

Fuck knows but I thought it was completely idiotic. I'm guessing they felt more comfortable leaving Tyler at LG considering he practiced there all week with Tyron only getting injured on Saturday.

That's why I said that it seems like the coaches completely lost the plot with all the late week OL injuries. Edoga had been fine at LG and can be protected a bit more in there, and Tyler obviously played like 900 snaps or whatever at LT last year.

But no, let's move Edoga and have Tyler play LG.

Now the narrative is we miss Zeke inside the redzone? Stop. If the redzone was only the 1 yard line. With out starting Oline TP will get us in from the 1.

We just need plays and players to get some yards once we are inside the 20. I think some on here undervalued Dalton Schultz, too.

I'm not too concerned just yet because this last game was an aberration with 3 fucking starting OL out, including 2 of our top 3 overall guys. They were fine in the Jets game, the numbers are just skewed because we had like three red zone possessions once we were up 24-10 and basically didn't try to score a TD, instead just running the clock and settling for FG's.

If they continue to go 1-5, 1-4, etc. over the next 2-3 games then it'll be a big issue.

It looks like he's already improved some of that windmill motion where the ball drops to almost around his waist.

I also notice even to targets just standing still, the receiver often has to reach for the ball.

Such an albatross that we have the 6th best record when he was coach here for half that time.

You're so fucking obnoxious.

He was literally one of the worst coaches in all of football who only experienced success because of the talent he was handed.

McCarthy won more games with a backup QB in 2 seasons than Garrett won in 10 years.

Pretending that he wasn't an awful coach and that there weren't a ton of options better than that fucking bum is preposterous.

STFU about Garrett already.
