Same dumbass who went off on the Diggs injury.

It is pretty clear he is a dolt that has become aware that saying negative things about the Cowboys is how you establish cred. But this is full on retardism that makes everyone dumber after watching it.

It's not even a good shtick. It's just straight up retarded.

Oh, I know who dumbass Bart Scott is.

But see, he's not interesting enough to keep people tuning in, so why have him around and hurt your credibility?

It isn't just idiotic takes like this, the guy just isn't very bright and doesn't even know the rules of his own sport.

For example, last week after the Eagles beat the Vikings on Thursday night they were discussing that rugby scrum play that the Eagles use and how it shouldn't be allowed.

Bart Scott said that what he would do to combat this play is to have his guys take "head shots" at Jalen Hurts because they become legal once the QB becomes a RB which is what he would be in that instance as a ball-carrier.

You should have seen Dan Graziano's face after he said that. :lol

Head shots are NEVER legal no matter what the circumstances are.

I get that buffoons like Skip Bayless and Stephen A. have ridiculous takes and act like clowns to draw ratings. And while I'm not a fan of it, it can't be argued that people tune in to watch that nonsense.

But Bart fucking Scott? You can't tell me that anybody gives a shit what this buffoon has to say so why have this guy around when all it does is hurt your credibility as a professional sports analysis medium?

Would anyone even know who he is, would he have that job, without the "Can't Wait!"

Clicks/views is different from cred.

Teddy Bridgewater has to be one of the most overrated spare QBs of all time.

It's not about establishing credibility it's about generating an emotional response to get clicks, etc. These morons know the Cowboys have the largest fan base so the easiest way to generate attention (which is their main incentive) the more likely they are to hold onto their jobs/salaries.

The networks don't give one fuck about objective analysis, they just want to generate attention, and they don't care who the one holding the megaphone is that does it. They know stupid fans think former players automatically know what they're talking about so that's why you see so many of them on TV, but if they could get away with any random moron up there riling people up they would, i.e. Stephen A.

The majority of these people talking on TV now are nothing more than highly paid shitposting trolls, and the networks themselves are basically just social media wrapped up in a different delivery vehicle.

He was on the mid day show at WFAN a few years ago, clearly didn't know a damn thing about baseball, and they let him go. Guy's a real cement head.

As Simp said, ESPN knows exactly what they're doing. Scott is getting them views and clicks, which is all that matters. He may even be the one designated to take the heat so the others on the set can act outraged and above it.

Yea these sports talk shows nowadays are basically WWF, you have heels and saviors and all sorts of bullshit. There is no reporting any more, it's basically content driven for pure emotional responses.

The closest thing you get to reporting are the rumor monger insiders like Scheftee/Woj who have careers on getting news like 15 minutes in advance of it becoming public.

It's all a joke.

The funny thing is they keep having to make personnel cuts because they're generating so little viewership. And yet they can't seem to put 2 and 2 together.

This dumb shit garners short term attention but long term losses.
