Football is not the sport where players are paid the least. It's also the sport with the most players among whom to split the money up.

And maybe one of the reasons the sport is good is because contracts are not guaranteed. Basketball's product is garbage.
 
These guys get plenty of guaranteed money anyway. Who cares if every penny of the usually-phony numbers that agents put out are guaranteed... they know up front what is guaranteed and what isn't.

Both baseball and basketball pay better on average.

The league average for an NBA player is over 9 million

The league average for an MLB player is over 4 million.

The league average for an NFL player is over 2 million.
 
Gorilla infraction for improper and untrue use, because hockey IS the best sport.
